STRUCTURAL INTEGRATION

Structural Integration restores natural physical balance and coordination, enhancing flexibility and strength. Each session includes light to deep myofascial massage, which alongside active client participation, unwinds restricted connective tissue. This frees up the route to stronger and more connected core body movement. A series of exercises are used to support the client in meeting their goals, whether learning appropriate muscle recruitment or focusing on the postural alignment needs of everyday function. Over time bodily shifts are sustained through awareness and practice. I offer the ten series programme as well as bespoke sessions in blocks.

MYOFASCIAL MASSAGE

Myofascial Massage is a satisfying and relaxing therapeutic massage which aims to balance and realign the fascial network in the body. It focuses on relieving tension in localised areas and reconnecting them to the whole body. During massage, advanced bodywork methods such as neuromuscular technique (NMT) and muscle energy technique (MET) are used to free up adhered connective tissue, reduce inflammation and relieve pain.

 

MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a light touch massage that stimulates the lymphatic system and improves the transportation of nutrients and oxygen to the body’s tissues while eliminating excessive fluids and waste products.

MATRIX RHYTHM THERAPY

Inspired by the classical vibration massage method used in sports rehabilitation, Matrix Rhythm Therapy encourages cellular regeneration with the application of the Matrixmobil® device.

The Matrixmobil® device produces pulsations which copy the body’s natural rhythm by gently and harmoniously inducing cells to reactivate, regenerate and readapt to the biochemical and physiological bodily processes. It is particularly effective combined with Structural Integration to assist the body’s healing potential to restore and repair.

GYROTONIC equipment provides the client with safe and sustained resistance to maintain a balanced alignment throughout the body while circular, spiraling and undulating movements are used to free up the spine while exercising. The exercises are adapted to the individual’s needs, from a slow pace to a faster rhythmic aerobic exercise movements.
